PERU has submitted a letter conveying our displeasure with managements actions and their lack of respect for PERU.
Excerpt from the letter to Local 503's executive director:

We are disappointed not only in management’s decision to remove PERU signs and posters in both the Portland and Salem field offices, but also in the manner in which it was done. We were not told that these items needed to be removed and, therefore, given the opportunity to remove them ourselves if we chose to. Instead, they were removed without our knowledge. In addition, rather than returning the signs to us after removing them, in both cases, they were thrown away. These items were produced with supplies purchased with PERU’s money, and management had no right to throw them in the garbage.
